FERRI TALES AND OTHER STORIES…

Claudia Ferri Biography

Claudia Ferri is a powerful multi-cultural actress known for playing passionate women over her four-decade career. She returns to “Palm Royale” for her second season as Cuban expat Raquel Kimberly-Marco, a core Palm Beach elite, in the icon-studded series with Kristin Wiig, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Carol Burnett and Ricky Martin.

Growing up with family members from around the world, Claudia uses her rich lineage to create authentic cultural specificity and depth in her characters.

She commands respect as “The Godmother,” Colombian drug trafficker Paloma Hermosa in “La Marraine.” She reigns as the Peruvian La Capitana in “Queen of the South,” Québec’s Judge France Charbonneau in “Bad Blood,” and Indigenous band chief Nicole Jackson in AMC’s “The Killing.” And she voices multiple characters in the world of “Assassin’s Creed.”

She won the Outstanding Female Performance ACTRA award for her work as first-generation Italian Canadian Elena Batista in “Ciao Bello,” shot simultaneously in English and French for both the CBC and Radio-Canada.

She also leaned on her father’s Italian heritage, starring as neurotic Anna Beberini in “Mambo Italiano” alongside Paul Sorvino. And in her very first acting role as Maura Ramirez in “The Assignment,” she shared the screen with Donald Sutherland and Ben Kingsley.

No matter the language, Claudia brings gravitas and grace to the characters she creates.
